Printhead Faulty error

If you are receiving a message in the Toolbox which says "Printhead Faulty," it means that the machine is not reading the contacts of the printhead properly. This is generally caused by ink on either the head or the pen board contacts. Perform the following steps in order to remedy this issue:

1. Begin by preforming a system deprime, opening the blue latch, and removing the head.

2. Next, clean the printhead contacts. Any amount of ink left on the head contacts will result in the recurrence of the error, so be thorough:

If the the preceding steps fail, the last remaining option is to replace the printhead:
